Deborah Frieden, acting on behalf of the EPA Youth Arts & Music Center LLC., kicked off an an architect selection process in August 2015 following the acquisition of a large site at the corner of Bay and Pulgas Streets. The process is an invitational RFQ with 22 firms invited to participate. The goal of the process is to select a firm that can lead an extensive community design process involving community stakeholders as well as local youth from the Youth Action Team that will result in a creative, youth-centric facility that is appropriate in its context and unique to EPA.
