Early in 2017, Deborah was asked to provide advice to the Tibet Museum in Dharamsala India on behalf of the Tibetan Government in Exile. In January, Deborah traveled to Dharamsala and McLeod Ganj to collaborate with the team there and with colleagues from the University of Wyoming Museum. The planning involves expanding the museum into a new building being built adjacent to the Library and Archives and to the Parliament Building. The project entails expanding permanent and temporary exhibitions to add cultural preservation to the political story of the invasion and resulting exile to India and beyond.
